Stakeholder Involvement in Program Development
Stakeholder approval and support is essential for any practical project. The participants play a significant role in developing an evidence-based program. The mission, goals, and objectives of a medical project guide the health organization’s strategies to achieve maximum healthcare. The paper identifies stakeholders in medical program development and the roles they play in decision making.
Pharmaceutical companies play a crucial role in the overall patient outcome. Patients rely on drugs from the pharmacy to recuperate and reduce pain. Including pharmacist’s representatives in the development of the project’s goal will ensure that patients can afford medicines recommended by their doctors (Boaz 2018). Involving the company will also ensure that physicians are educated about a particular brand’s risks and benefits.
Physicians should be subjected to provide healthcare to patients and be involved in decision-making and goal setting of a program. Doctors play an important role in developing the objectives, goals, and mission of project development (Majid, Kim, Cako and Gagliardi 2018). Involving medical practitioners will enable the program to better healthcare since doctors can control and reduce the rising cost of healthcare.
Several approaches can be used to acquire stakeholders’ support. The first approach I will use is to create awareness about the program. Holding medical seminars and discussions provides a link with potential stakeholders willing to participate in the program. Participating in medical conferences will also enable stakeholders to engage in program development.
In conclusion, community involvement in healthcare provision improves the trust people have in medical care organizations. Physician and pharmacist representatives provide essential insights and opinions on better ways to develop particular medical programs. Their support is vital because they provide the necessary skills and resources required for the program implementation.

Question
Discussion: Stakeholder Involvement

For a program to be effective, it is essential for members of the target population to be involved in developing the mission, goals, and objectives.

Who would you reach out to for developing your program? Are there other community organizations or business partners that you would like to connect with during this process? How would you facilitate the involvement of various stakeholders? What challenges do you think you might encounter?

In this Discussion, you and your colleagues address the myriad issues related to stakeholder involvement during the creation of a program’s mission, goals, and objectives.
Post a cohesive scholarly response that addresses the following:

Why is it important for representatives from the target population to be involved in developing the goals and objectives for the program?

How could you involve the representatives from the target population in designing the program?

What strategies could be used to navigate disagreements or lack of interest?
