Global Health Comparison Matrix
Introduction
The global medical problem centered around the World Wellbeing Association’s drawn-out plan is non-transferable infection counteraction. Non-Transferable Sicknesses (NCDs) distinguished by WHO are malignancy, cardiovascular infections, diabetes, weight, and hypertension (World Wellbeing Association (WHO). (n.d.). The issue of Non-Transferable Illness is being alleviated by the world wellbeing association in different nations. The U.S. and Canada are nations affected by world wellbeing associations’ non-transferable sickness counteraction programs.
Part 1: Global Health Comparison Matrix
Global Health Issue Global health is the prevention and mitigation of non-communicable diseases (NCDs).
Description Non-communicable diseases are on the rise globally and have resulted in an increased cost of care delivery, increased number of patients, and lately a negative impact for an opportunistic disease like COVID-19. Therefore, the combination of WHO approaches aims to prevent non-communicable diseases globally (World Health Organization (WHO). (n.d.).
Country United States Canada
Consider the U.S. national/federal health policies that have been adapted for the global health issue you selected from the WHO global health agenda. Compare these policies to the additional country you selected for study The U.S. program moderates non-transferable sickness through examination, instruction of subject matter experts, and public-private association. The decrease of insulin costs through approach putting forth was the public authority’s attempt to help in relieving the diabetic issue. Likewise, the U.S. government began the program Wellbeing Individuals that centers around instructing its residents on carrying on with a better life by having a decent way of life. The U.S. government also joins WHO forces in innovative work on the most proficient method to forestall the sickness (WHO, n.d.). The Canadian government keeps a relationship with a World Wellbeing Association to have the option to offer consideration to the general influenced populace. Moreover, the nation embraced the approach of examination, shared activity, and the masses’ schooling.

• Explain the strengths of each policy.
The policy of research will lead to discoveries and solutions.
The policy of subsidizing, such as reducing insulin costs, is vital in ensuring better results. Education of the public is vital in changing their lifestyles
The policy of collaboration ensures efficacy and sharing of ideas while research helps in giving direct solutions
• The weakness of the policy The process of research is expensive and not guaranteed solutions
Education of the masses is expensive
Subsidies are given to specific medication impacts on others. The education of the masses takes a more extended period to change the perception of the groups. Partnership policies work best if the relationship between countries is in good diplomatic health.
• Explain how the social determinants of health may impact the global health issue you selected. Be specific and provide examples.
The social determinants of health that impact non-communicable diseases are education, income, access to food, and healthcare access (Donkin et al., 2017).
For example, education level helps determine the level of income that impacts the type of healthcare services. Access to food is vital and hence affects eating habits. In Canada availability of food impacts the lifestyle. Lifestyle such as smoking, high intake of salts, and increased red meat intake are among social determinants.
• Explain how the health policy you selected might impact the health of the global population. Be specific and provide examples.
The issue of non-communicable diseases is driven by lifestyle. WHO is adopting multiapproach to mitigate the problem. The health policy of researching and developing evidence-based solutions is critical in the prevention of NCDs globally. The global health population depends on the results of research conducted by Canadians in partnership with WHO. Through the analysis, new solutions will be identified that are useful and can be used in other parts of the world.
• Explain how the health policy you selected might impact the role of the nurse in each country.
The nurses in the U.S. will be focusing on preventive care and reduces risk factors among the clients. The nurses in Canada will be focusing on training and educating the clients on preventing non-communicable diseases.
• Explain how global health issues impact local healthcare organizations and policies in both countries. Be specific and provide examples.
Global health issues are the summation of all problems common across all countries. For instance, cases of diabetes in the united states are similar to those in Africa. Hence, the policies at global stages aim at optimal approaches such that solutions found in the U.S. will be applied globally. The global health issues and policies of organizations such as WHO impact how the country makes its internal policies. For instance, the recommendations passed by the WHO will be instituted to allow the adoption of the guidelines.

Part 2: A Plan for Social Change
The fuse of a worldwide perspective in the avoidance and relief of non-transferable sicknesses is refined through proof-based practices. Since WHO is driven by the plan of relieving NCDs issue utilizing proof-based work, guaranteeing proof-based practices are practice in the office as a medical caretaker pioneer is one method of consolidating (Milstead and Short, 2019). Likewise, considering the projects that the wellbeing office at government accomplices with WHO helps in joining WHO arrangements at the office. I will advocate joining through interest and advancement of WHO rehearses in anticipation of NCDs.

The way toward consolidating the WHO positively impacts the part of the administration. For example, empowering change in life towards an appropriately adjusted eating routine, ordinary actual exercise of patients, and staying away from drugs helps change the administration (Corless et a., 2018). For example, as pioneers forcing decisions that forestall terrible lifestyles among patients and medical caretakers, no smoking and empowering weight control help to relieve NCDs. Thus, as a medical caretaker pioneer, I will want to forestall potential NCDs that are preventable.

Conclusion
Definitively, the fuse of a worldwide viewpoint into neighborhood practice addresses the enormous worldwide arrangements in the counteraction of non-transferable illnesses. As an attendant chief, the fuse helps advance a decent way of life that will at last forestall instances of non-transferable infections. For example, decreased sugar or glucose admission for the two patients and staff individuals is the initial phase in anticipation of non-transmittable ailments, such as weight gain or adiposity. The social way of life has been associated with non-transferable infections, such as smoking to cardiovascular issues, liquor to the danger of diabetes, and an inactive way of life to abundance weight acquire. These social viewpoints sway how individuals will see the approaches. For example, the presentation of compulsory activities in establishments and colleges impact how the prompt arrangements will be made. The social change will be competent at the neighborhood level as the new strategies embraced from the worldwide level are thought of.
