Evidence-based practice and research dissemination

Evidence-based practice and research dissemination

Researchers and doctors in health care both have a part to play in solving problems in society and taking care of patient’s medical needs. As a result, new research provides the opportunity to improve people’s health daily. There are numerous methods for disseminating projects and research findings. Some of the most common are biomedical research journals and meeting professional presentations. Professional presentations can take the form of an oral presentation or a poster presentation, including magazines. Disseminating evidence-based practice and research, including conference results, is essential to professional practice (Edwards, 2015). The other most commonly used project is the professional journal, which can be presented at a professional meeting. This is where I will present my professional, evidence-based practice projects in this project about the nursing shortage at Mercy Hospital’s emergency department and postpartum unit. This presentation will take place on two different platforms: oral and poster. In a professional meeting, I will have the opportunity to present the preliminary findings in the presence of stakeholders from the nursing profession and those involved with the emergency and postpartum departments at Mercy Hospital. This method will also allow the researcher to thoroughly explain the project and obtain feedback that will be useful for future research. Another option is to use a biomedical journal, which has several advantages, including receiving feedback from a professional biomedical. It will, however, not be the best option. As a result, a professional meeting presentation is the best option because it will expand on what the researcher has already worked on.
