Environmental Conditions
Environmental conditions play a key role in determining people’s health. These factors range from air quality, human activities promoting or polluting the environment, a natural disaster that positively or negatively influences human health. Environmental conditions are never constant as they keep changing with time. Research has shown that people experiencing different environmental conditions may encounter different body complications and diseases. This shows that the environment is a key factor that influences the health of a person. In this discussion, we are going to pick two environmental conditions in the community surrounding the school.

Environmental Conditions

The first condition is poor water quality. Research shows that many people worldwide are not in a position to access safe and clean drinking water. Some of the factors associated with this problem poor government strategies and directing wastes such as industrial and sewage to a water body (Semenza, 2020). In such an environment, it exposes the community to waterborne disease, which can be very devastating at the time. In this surrounding, almost half of the population can access clean and safe drinking and cooking water for people and livestock production. The few percentages are languishing with poor quality water. In general, we can say that effort is needed to ensure everybody can access safe water.
The second condition is air pollution. We cannot ignore the impact good air has on our life. Research shows that exposure to polluted air can cause morbidity and mortality over time (Gehrsitz, 2017). When air is polluted, it may result in a disease like lung cancer due to excessive breathing of polluted air. In this surrounding, it is good to note that air pollution cases are minimal, which creates a conducive environment for the people of this community. However, only a few percentages of pollution may be resulting from smoke from motor vehicles and excessive spray in the farms. This cannot be ignored as it can cause asthma and allergies to those who may experience it
We can collect data within the community for the two environmental conditions highlighted above to support our argument. For example, to collect accurate data on water quality in the areas, we will interview some homestead random both in poor and rich families. For air pollution, data can be collected very easily by observing emissions from industries and vehicles and in the big farm that use large sprayers to prevent pests and diseases. Therefore, data to support our observation regarding the condition in question are readily available in the surrounding.
