Agenda setting in government can be a difficult task. Why? Who do you think is a key agenda-setter in government? How does this participant contribute to the agenda? Give an example of a government’s attempt at agenda-setting. Was it a success? What is your reasoning? Consider how culture, political positions, and other factors may influence your or the agenda-setters priorities.
