I have identified and secured the participation of the following academic and professional teams to form the basis of my network. This network will help me to clarify my vision for success and will help guide me now and in the future.
NETWORK MEMBER 1:
Name: George Zangaro
Title: Dean College of Nursing
Organization: Walden University
Academic or Professional: Academic
Why I selected this individual and how she will support my success in the MSN program and as a practicing nurse:
Notes: I choose George because of his over 30 years of experience and his passion for nursing. Having known the dean for over two years, he is my academic mentor. George is a great influencer in the college of nursing here at Walden University. He is available to reach out to and provides helpful information for me as a student in the MSN program. Being in the nursing field for a long, he can offer social and professional connections with other healthcare workers. George will also provide reference checks that will be included in my Curriculum Vitae for job applications.

The organization offers many education and networking opportunities, professional development, and promotion of Advanced Practicing Nurses. AANP is led by volunteering Nursing Practitioners. The organization’s goal is to ensure that other nurses’ and patients’ voices are heard in decision-making matters. The organization has a referral program that ensures new members are attached to different health facilities within the first six months of their enrolment to the organization. The AAPN organization will also provide me with professional support whenever I am in a state of confusion. Veteran psychiatric nurses in AAPN will provide tips on managing the severities of nursing practice during annual conferences.
NETWORK MEMBER 4
Name: American Psychiatric Nurses Association

Organization: American Psychiatric Nurses Association
Academic or Professional: Professional
Why I selected this individual and/or team and how they will support my success in the MSN program and as a practicing nurse:

APNA institution will keep me updated on the current medical trends and advancements. Constant updates on the group’s social media platform will also keep my knowledge fresh and relevant. The organization maintains solid reference checks by establishing strong relationships among members and employees. The reference checks will help me to secure a psychiatric nursing placement easily.
